I’m 31 years old. My husband is 30 years old. We have been married for 6 years and trying to have a child for 4 years. We work on a cattle ranch and have health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. We are still paying off student loans, working hard, laughing everyday, healthy, seeing beautiful country, hanging out with friends, aspiring to do more. In all this, everyday, there is deep pain and fear because of all that we’ve gone through to try and conceive and the possibility that it may never happen. But it’s because we are insured through the Affordable Care Act that we can still pursue having a child, which is more meaningful to me than anything else in my life apart from my husband and marriage.
