I live in Washington DC and am middle class and white.
You’d think I don’t need ACA. But I do… as a self-employed parent, as a sister, and as someone who cares for all those who were uninsured in our country before ACA.
One of my sons has ADHD, the other has asthma and my brother (in another state) got health insurance for the first time in his life at age 38. Even though I paid a little more switching to ACA from my private insurance before, at least I knew my kids, brother and millions of my fellow Americans were insured as well.
Thank you, for I know you’ll repair and not repeal it. Better yet, leave it be.
